Smart Goals
For our midterm, we wrote a letter to our teacher about some of the our work in the classroom that we had done so far. We reflected on our goals and our interests and how they might impact our career and college choices. We also reflected on ourselves and our strengths and weaknesses. These strengths and weaknesses might influence our future life choices.
In this assignment, we created goals for ourselves. The idea was to set reachable goals that we could accomplish. These goals were about things that we hope to achieve in the future. They also focused on specific aspects of our lives such as college and our potential careers. Goal setting is a good way to begin to plan your life out.
In this assignment, we explored potential careers. These were based on our personal interests, but also the career clusters from the career interest profile. We researched these careers and found out more information about certain aspects such as salary, education, what the job entailed, and other information about each job.
